Wishlist// Hiphunters

It's maybe hard to belive, but I've never been a huge fan of shopping. The only thing I can enjoy in when it comes to shopping are maybe shoes or those garments that I can try without going to the dressing room... especially now, during the winter, when you have like hundred layers on... That's why a good online store can come in hand! :)

So, speaking of which... I've recently discovered a new global fashion platform called HIPHUNTERS. HipHunters helps you find and shop the best fashion worldwide.
Via Hiphunters I've discovered some very cool new brands/designers and found myself drooling over many beautiful boots, jackets and dresses. Every time I discover a new shop, I first look at those three  categories! :) What are yours "soft spots" when it comes to shopping?

Anyhow, these are some of my favorites... enjoy guys!

Outfit// The Idiot

"Compassion was the most important, perhaps the sole law of human existence."
- Fyodor Dostoyevsky

Jeans and Dress: Mango/ Blazer: Zara/ Shoes: C&A/ Hat: grandmothers

If you have no idea why I entitled this post the way I did, read all about it in THIS post.

What can I say about this one... I'm a huge fan of Russian litterature... I just love that Russian emotion... the way they love a woman, the way they suffer, the way they die, the way they love their country...
The Idiot stole my hear a long time ago when I was still in high school. I remember finishing that book in two days. The second day, I stayed up until 2am to be able to finish it. That same day, after school, I went to antique (book) store and bought me a copy.  What can I say, Lev Nikolayevich Myshkin was the first man who stole my heart. :)

One of the most popular quotes from The Idiot is "Beauty will save the world". If you are wondering what Myshkin meant by that, don't waste time and read this classic. I assure you, you won't regret it. ;)

Outfit// Il giorno della civetta'

“La verità è nel fondo di un pozzo: lei guarda in un pozzo e vede il sole o la luna; ma se si butta giù non c’è più né sole né luna, c’è la verità.”
- Leonardo Sciascia

Faux fur coat: no brand/ Jeans: Mango/ Shirt: H&M/ Vest: Reserved/ Glitter boots: Zara

I've decided to do something different this month... since I'm a huge literature fan, this month I'll be showing you outfits that (in a strange-only noticeable to me-way) represent some of my favorite books. What do you think about that? :)

Now, that we cleared that out, let's start... Il giorno della civetta' is definitely one of my favorites. I've read it both in Italian and Croatian and I have to say that I like it so much better in Italian. So, If you are native speaker or just one of those people who can read Italian, I highly recommend reading this piece in Italian. Either way, find a way to read it. :)

More information about this book, you can find here or here
