The other day, my mum asked me why I'm always in black ... now, when I'm pregnant ... I don't think that I'm always in black but I think I've learned a thing or two during my first pregnancy.
The thing is, with time, you can't hide your baby bump (and most definitely you don't have to) but you just have to choose the colors and patterns more carefully and wisely. It's just the same when you generally with certain type of clothes want (and can) hide a certain part of your body that you don't like very much. Don't get me wrong, I love my baby bump but let's be honest, it wouldn't look good with cropped top or a tight red mini dress.
So, maybe you'll remember that in one of my posts from this spring I told you the story about me buying a silver top during my first pregnancy and ended up looking as a huge alien. It just didn't look good. I remember also trying on a dress that had a very aggressive pattern (also during the first pregnancy) and I looked ten times bigger than I was (and the dress was size S) ... So, my point is ... if you have quite a baby bump (as I do now ... I'm not talking about first 20 weeks), try to avoid aggressive patterns and colors. Still, you can always "spice up" your combo with some cute details (necklaces, colorful shoes or scarves) as I did here with silver shoes and necklace and short leather blazer. What are your thoughts about this look?
